Living in a box

It’s crazy how we sometimes take things like space for granted. Space in London is a commodity that only the privileged few have. If you want space you have to leave London but if you want money you have to stay in London and live in a box.

This image was shot in Kensington Olympia close to where I work, it’s not a bad area at all but the homes are still little boxes with pokey little windows and zero architectural creativity.

A picture a day keeps the creative juices flowing

I have been creatively imprisoned lately and have been looking for a photographic project to work on. I found one…

Not a day goes by that I don’t see something and wish that I had my camera with me to shoot it. Being a photographer, that would mean lugging all my gear around so that I can shoot the best image possible and that’s not an option.

Well, I have just got my new iPhone and it gave me a great idea. I am going to shoot one photo a day with the iPhone  camera and upload it to this blog. this could be an image of where I’ve been, people that I am with or something that I am doing. The common thread though, is that it is something that I have seen, I have shot it with my iPhone, and I would like to share with whoever is interested how I see the world.

This image was shot in London. It is autumn now, it gets light later, dark earlier,  the leaves are falling and people are starting to layer up to combat the dropping temperature. Autumn is stunning though, it is worth just a 5 second stop to look up through the trees and see the most amazing colours that only come around once a year.
